Mustang Trek
Highlights:
This is a wilderness trekking to the enigmatic kingdom of Mustang which was for bidden till 1992. This region gives us the beautiful desert landscape full of life and changing colors. One can view the town which has not been affected by tourism and whose inhabitants still cling to the lifestyle of their ancestor. Mustang has an average elevation of 4000 meters (13,200 feet) above sea level. It is located north of the mountain giants Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, thus north of Himalayan main ridge, geographically belonging to the highlands of Tibet. Situated beyond the rain barrier of the mountains, only winter-try, mostly barren desert steppes can be found in this vast high valley.
